Hartge it’s a German tuning company which takes advantage of any opportunity to present kits for BMW models.

This time, we talk about the BMW 1 Series hatch, namely the 116i variant. The main improvements brought by Hartge are in the performance chapter but the company also offers few aesthetic tweaks as well.

The BMW 116i is powered by a 1.6-liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder engine delivering 134 horsepower at 4,400 rpm and 220Nm of torque.

After few performance tweaks such as a reworked ECU unit, the German model produces 169 horsepower at 4,400 rpm and 265 Nm of torque from 2,000 rpm.

The extra power helps the Hartge’s BMW 116i to complete the 80-180 km/h sprint in about 20 seconds, with almost 7 seconds less than the stock model.

Even though Hartge released no 0-100 km/h acceleration figures, they claim that the top speed remain unchanged at 210 km/h. The exterior features a new set of 19-inch alloy wheels while entering the cabin you will find aluminum pedals and new floor mats.

Last but not least, the German model sports a new suspension able to lower the ride while a stainless steel exhaust is also available.
