2015 Frankfurt Motor Show: Mercedes GLE Coupe 850 by Brabus

The tuning division from Mercedes-Benz, Brabus, has brought its latest creation to the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, the all-mighty Mercedes GLE Coupe 850. As the name suggests, the tuning program refers to some power upgrades under the hood, along with a fresh aero body kit.

Whenever I hear about a Mercedes being customized by Brabus I immediately imagine sheer performance underneath the skin, and the reality is that indeed the tuner offers a lot of impressive power kits for its Mercedes siblings.

In the stock version, the Mercedes GLE 63 AMG packs a 5.5-liter AMG twin-turbo V8 engine, but the aftermarket specialists have fitted this customized GLE Coupe with a 6.0-liter unit, resulting an impressive 850 horsepower and a whopping 1,450 Nm of torque.

The performance figures are also mind-blowing: just 3.2 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h, at a topping of 320 km/h. The performance is also given by the new lowered suspension, wider brake discs and the monoblock wheels with special high-performance rubbers.

From a visual standpoint, the Mercedes GLE Coupe 850 by Brabus is coming with a carbon fiber aero body kit, consisting of new front and rear bumpers, carbon fiber spoiler lip, rear diffuser, tailgate spoiler and a few more.
