Alpha-N Performance Upgrades BMW M2 with GTS Styling Bits

It is not every day we get to see an M2 Coupe receiving body styling tweaks from its bigger brothers like the M3 or M4, but the project below, put together by no other than Alpha-N Performance, demonstrates that major transformation can occur on a model like the M2.

For some of you the new styling with the M4 GTS tweaks might seem too exaggerated and I tend to believe that too, but hey, this is what makes the tuning industry so fun and exciting.

The model below comes with a lot of carbon fiber parts, which are rather the same found on the hardcore BMW M4 GTS, except for its engine.

We are looking here at carbon fiber parts on the front splitter, adding custom side skirts, rear wing and diffuser. Other features also include blacked-out kidney grilles, exterior accents or the Ohlins Road & Track adjustable coilover system.

We should also complete the exterior with the 20-inch BMW M Competition wheels, also found on the BMW M4 GTS. For this part, I might add that the model looks indeed more aggressive.

Under the hood, the tuner has also prepared some goodies as well, the model getting an ECU remapping and new turbochargers, which significantly raise the car`s stock power.

In the stock form, the M2 Coupe is equipped with a high-performance 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo inline flat-six engine, developing a good 370 horsepower and 465 Nm of torque. This allows sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds with a manual and 4.3 seconds with a DCT. With the tuner`s new power kit, this model develops an increased 450 horsepower.
