The 2017 Mercedes SL65 AMG has been out on the streets for around six months now and the gorgeous model has already become a real inspiration for the world of tuning, with lots of aftermarket shops getting their hands on the model.
And I have to admit that the model best suits the needs of the tuning segment, coming with an extremely aggressive body styling which makes room for plenty of customizations. This model seen here is also standing from the crowd with slight mods at the exterior, along with a set of new wheels.
The tuning project has been carried out by Hyperforged Wheels in collaboration with Auto Plaza Dank, the model getting the best wheeling treatment.
At the exterior, the model received minor changes at the front and rear bumpers, with the main focus on the car`s wheels. In this sense, the Hyperforged Wheels installed their latest rims, called the HF-LC5.
They are sized 9.5Jx20 DeepConcave up front and 11.0Jx21 DeepConcave at the rear, all finished in Brushed Anodized Light Bronze with matte lips and wrapped with ContiSPortContact6 tires, measuring 255/30/20 and 295/25/21 front and rear.
The torque of this wonderful piece of German engineering has also received a boost. We are looking here at a stock 6.0-liter V12 bi-turbo engine, developing 630 horsepower and whopping 1,000 Nm of torque, which is way too impressive than the standard 738 Nm of torque, hooked to an AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC transmission and ABC (Active Body Control).
The new torque allows a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a mind-blowing 3.7 seconds, at a top speed of 250 km/h that can be raised to 300 km/h.
