Audi TT RS-R by ABT Sportsline Is Limited Edition, Arrives in Geneva, Next Week

The aftermarket specialists from ABT Sportsline tuning company are well-known for their special and one-off projects carried out on exquisite models, especially from Audi.

Their latest project involves a heavy customization on the RS-R, the hardcore variant of the Audi TT model. The program was also previewed ahead the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, which opens its gates next week.

The Audi TT RS-R comes with plenty of carbon fiber composites at the exterior, adding as well a power boost under the hood. Only 50 customers will be lucky to have it at their door, starting next month. The pricing details will be revealed later on.

From a visual standpoint, the Audi TT RS-R by ABT Sportsline comes fitted with carbon fiber front spoiler, side skirt add-ons with side blades, grille frame, and multi-part rear skirt. The entire aero package is also highlighted by the stainless steel exhaust system with double tailpipe trims at the rear, adding as well the gorgeous 20-inch ABT Sport GR wheels.

Mechanically, the model has been enhanced with new suspension springs which lower the car`s ride height for increase stance, adding sports stabilizers on both axles and a few more. The cabin has also received carbon trims on the dashboard panel and seat panels.

The car`s main highlight remains the power boost under the hood, the technicians from ABT now making the 2.5-liter five-cylinder TFSI petrol burner chunr out 493 horsepwoer and 570 Nm of torque. This is a power boost of 99 horsepower and 120 Nm of torque over the stock variant, with the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h to be done in a mind-blowing 3.7 seconds.
