MTM unveiled a special tuning kit for the Audi S8, one meant to celebrate the top speed record set by Bobby Unser with the Audi 5000 CS Turbo at the Talladega Speedway.
He managed to hit a top speed of over 350 km/h, a quite decent number for that year, namely 1986. The Audi S8 Talladega brings a series of improvements including a retuned 4.0-liter V8 engine delivering 760 horsepower and 945 Nm of torque.
We talk about an additional 240 hp and 295 Nm of torque, enough for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 3,4 seconds and a top speed limited at 325 km/h.
In terms of styling, MTM fitted the Audi S8 with a carbn fiber body kit including new front spoiler lip, side skirts and rear diffuser as well as new 21-inch Bimoto alloy wheels. The latter are shod in 295/30 Pilot Super Sport tires.
The Audi S8 Talladega is going to be available in a limited run of 25 units with a price of €189,708 each.
