BMW M2 Coupe Receives Impressive Power Boost from Mcchip-DKR

Ever since its launch on the market around seven months ago, the 2016 BMW M2 Coupe has become the carmaker`s new star in the tuning world, the hot model managing to impress its audience with exceptional tuning projects.

And there are a lot of aftermarket shops that would love having the M2 Coupe in their shop for some fine modding; and we have seen some pretty standout kits fitting just fine on the model, courtesy of tuners like Mansory, Vorsteiner, Prior Design, Mansory and so on.

The latest project to be a real eye-catcher is the one seen below, and which now comes with a power boost designed by Mcchip-DKR German tuner, which mainly deals with power upgrades, especially on BMW products. The tuner`s each project is unique and this one seen here is also making the M2 Coupe more powerful than before.

As the exterior, the 2016 BMW M2 Coupe comes with the stock body styling, all adorned with the M Performance Parts, with the cabin to share the same high-end treatment. However, in terms of performance, things are looking different.

We are looking here at an ECU remapping, modified turbochargers, bespoke downpipes and high-flow 200-cell catalytic converter and a new intercooler, all for which you will have to pay a total of 8,090 euros or 9,000 dollars.

The entire power kit raises the car`s power from 445 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque to a good 450 horsepower and 690 Nm of torque. Even if you think this is not much, it does count when it comes with torque increase, especially when we are looking here at the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h which should be done in less than 4.2 seconds.

What do you think?
