Mercedes C-Class Estate by VATH

VATH released a new tuning kit for the Mercedes C-Class Estate, the spacious wagon of the German carmaker. Under the hood sits a 1.6-liter turbocharged unit which delivers 156 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque in standard configuration.

After some modifications, the model known as the C180 is capable to produce 192 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. This will improve the top speed to a maximum of 230 km/h, an upgrade which comes with a cost of €2,011, excluding the €298 installing fee.

Besides the power boost, there are also some aesthetic changes such as the new 20-inch alloy wheels that cost 6,111. Carbon fiber parts such as a front spoiler and a rear diffuser are also available while the latter houses a quad-pipe sports exhaust system as well.

Furthermore, there’s a special suspension system with lowering springs that brings the car 30 mm closer to the ground. The new springs cost €345 while the exhaust system we talked about earlier is €2,011.

All in all, VATH’s package for the Mercedes C-Class Estate manages to bring both styling and performance tweaks, even though they are not very impressive. Availabilty details on the new tuning kit will be released soon by VATH.
