Brabus Brings G550 Adventure 4×4 at 2017 Geneva Motor Show

The 2017 Geneva Motor Show has recently opened its gates with carmakers worldwide releasing their latest models. World famous tuners have also arrived with impressive rides, especially built for the event and hoping that they could sell them to the highest bidders.

Brabus is the hardcore arm from Daimler which customized exquisite Mercedes-Benz models and has arrived in Geneva with some one-off rides, including the standout G550 Adventure, based on the Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4².

This jacked-up variant of the Mercedes-Benz G550 4×4² comes with a wide body kit, along with some heavy stuff for off-road terrain, like underbody protection, winch, hood scoop, extra lighting system, electronically adjustable suspension and so on.

As for the SUV`s powertrain under the hood, this lad seen below is coming with the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, now outputting an impressive 542 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque.

Despite its massive body style, weighing almost three tons, the Brabus G550 Adventure is still capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds, at a top speed of 130 miles per hour.

Besides the Brabus 550 Adventure 4×4², the German hardcore division has also brought along other exquisite models to be officially display in Geneva, including the Smart ForTwo Cabriolet, Mercedes V-Class (recently reviewed in a previous article), as well as the mind-blowing Maserati Levante.

Stay tuned for more details on the tuner`s model range at its stand in Geneva, meanwhile, enjoy the media gallery with the outstanding Brabus 550 Adventure 4×4².
