Brabus is well known for their packages that improve Mercedes-Benz models. This time, they went even further by upgrading the Mercedes-Maybach S600, a full-size sedan that needs no introduction.
Beginning at the exterior, you will notice the new front and rear bumpers, large 21-inch alloy wheels, revised spoilers, side skirts and a new rear diffuser. However, these aren’t the most impressive changes for this car.
Under the hood sits a larger 6.3-liters V12 engine, up from the stock 6.0-liter unit. As a result, Brabus’ decision to change the engine displacement can be seen with the naked eye. The new engine is capable to deliver no less than 900 horsepower and 1,500 Nm of torque, enough for a 0-100 km/h sprint of 3,7 seconds.
Top speed is limited at 350 km/h, probably a wise decision. The 0-100 km/h acceleration time is by far the most impressive result, mainly considering we talk about a very heavy car, tipping the scales at almost 3 tons.
For the interior, Brabus prepared a new iBusiness infotainment system with Apple integration. Wood and carbon fiber inserts are also available while leather upholstery is of course everywhere. Pricing and availability details were not released yet.
