The special tuning division from Mercedes-Benz, Brabus, has unveiled the Rocket 900 at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and the model has been previewed in many test drives as well as impressive videos, and this time, the most outstanding and most powerful model ever built by the German tuner is now back in another extraordinary video!
The video is showcasing the Brabus Rocket 900 revving its engine before accelerating and demonstrates the pure brute that lies underneath the skin. As the name suggests, it`s all about the 900 horsepower it comes with.
As a reminder, the Brabus Rocket 900 is making use of a massive 6.2-liter unit, also seen on the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG, now fitted with the Brabus billet crankshaft, which added a wider cylinder bore. We are talking about a new 6.3-liter V12 engine, which outputs 900 horsepower and whopping 1,500 Nm of torque.
All the power is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed automatic transmission, which makes it sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, shutting down a lot of performance sports cars.
But Brabus 900 Rocket is also coming with other performance features that really makes it a beast on the roads, meaning the fitting of larger pistons, turbochargers and turbine, along with the 80 mm downpipes and the new exhaust manifolds. Finally, a customized new air intake has also made its way under the hood.
