Video: Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Officially Announced

There are two racing cars at the moment that can be used for both pleasure and professional thrill, and those would be the recently announced Audi RS3 LMS racer, designed for less experienced drivers, as well as the hardcore Porsche 911 GT3, which is the iconic racer that a real professional would choose for track use.

The Porsche 911 GT3 is indeed an exceptional racer that the German carmaker has built especially for the GT3 Cup, and coming with extraordinary driving capabilities and sheer performance under the hood.

The Porsche 911 GT3 was also officially introduced, the company releasing an amazing video called “The New Porsche 911 GT3 CUP. Born in Flacht”, and which highlights the driver`s exquisite capabilities on the track.

The all-new 911 GT3 Cup is that sports car that sits atop more than fifty years of experience on the tracks, now coming with improved aerodynamics and up-to-date mechanics.

As the carmaker claims, the newly-arrived 911 GT3 Cup sits on a lightweight architecture, consisting of aluminum-steel composites, which makes it more rigid and increases stance on the tracks. We are actually dealing here with a racer that weighs no more than 1,200 kg.

The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup also meets all the requirements and FIA regulations, meaning that it comes with the latest safety racing features, like six-point racing safety harness, fuel cut-off safety valve, built-in air jack system with valve mountable on both sides, or 100-liter fuel cell.

Other main highlights refer to weld-in roll cage, front lid with two air intakes for cockpit ventilation, fastening point preparation for central safety net attachment and much more. Enjoy the video and don’t forget to share your opinions with us!
