1989 Porsche 911 Speedsteer with Visual Upgrades by DP Motorsport

Restomoding classic and iconic models from Porsche requires a lot of skills, knowledge of the cars and craftsmanship, and only a couple of tuning companies dare to take the challenge. There is Singer Design, a dedicated Porsche tuner well-known for their exquisite restorations. However, there is also the smaller firm DP Motorsport which recently decided to upgrade it with some cool features of their own.

Following a series of upgrades in the 90`s, meaning turning it into a genuine Speedster, the technicians aftermarket from DP Motorsport took over for some in-depth customizations, starting with the exterior and planning to continue with a new power boost under the hood.

It is not easy doing an aftermarket job on a classic Porsche, however the technicians from the tuning firm really took care of this exquisite model.

The upgrades started with the adding of the F-model Carrera wide aero kit, which consists of wider fenders, lowered front bumper and side skirts that increase the car`s aerodynamics.

At the bottom edge of the sills, the engineers added sills that cover the oil pipes for enhanced looks and aggressive attitude. There is also the new set of wheels, seized 7 x 16 with Continental Sport Contact tires at the front and 16 x 9 with the same tires at the back. Other features also include H&R mods or twin mufflers with custom rear bumper.

Word has it that the 1989 Porsche 911 Speedster is also about to receive a power boost from 218 horsepower to an incredibly 260 horsepower, along with other hot mechanical stuff like adjustable height with KW Clubsport suspension, Superpro bearings, Schrick-camshafts, exhaust manifold and wider throttle valve.

Rest assure that we will get back to you with the latest modifications on this classic from Porsche. Meanwhile, don’t forget to check out the media gallery with the 1989 Porsche 911 Speedster by DP Motorsport!
