Novitec Rosso decided to unveil a tuning kit for the convertible version of the Ferrari 458 Italia, a model seen for the first time at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
If the standard model equipped with a 4.5-liter V8 engine develops 570 horsepower, the tuned model exceeds the 600-horsepower barrier while the maximum torque is rated at 569Nm.
The top speed also increases from 320 km/h to 325 km/h but there are no details regarding the new acceleration time.
The extra power comes from a lighter exhaust system which weighs about 21 kilograms less than the standard one. A new set of 21-inch alloy wheels with 255/30 ZR 21 Pirelli P-Zero tires are available at the front while larger 22-inch alloys with 335/25 ZR 22 in the rear.
“The designers concentrated not merely on striking looks, but first and foremost on aerodynamic efficiency, which was fine-tuned in the wind tunnel of the University of Stuttgart,” says the Italian company.
New front spoiler, rear diffuser, boot lid and revised taillights complete the exterior improvements.
