John Hennessey, the founder and CEO at Hennessey, took it to himself to prove the beasty powers of the Mustang HPE700 in Uvalde, Texas where he reportedly achieved a top speed of 314.1 km/h.
Hennessey’s HPE700 version for the 6th gen. Mustang GT bring it from 435hp to a stunning 717hp by adding a bigger supercharger an air induction system, new fuel injectors, a fuel pump, all wrapped up in an electronic ECU unit.
Aside from the insane 5.0 V8 engine under the hood the car also sports an all black paintjob that starts with the car and ends with the rims. The HPE700 Mustang is nothing other than a beast inside out. The exterior has also been swiftly stylized with appropriate badging and sponsor stickers.
0 to 100km/h for this version of the Mustang is a swift and incredible 3.6 seconds which also means it does a quarter mile in no less than 11.2 seconds at 210.8km/h top speed. This means the HPE700 matches the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat’s time.
There’s no doubt in our minds that this car is one hell of an engineering masterpiece and that it is second to none in its family and rest of the muscle car circle.
