POSAIDON released official details on their new tuning kit for the Mercedes-AMG GT. The German company focused mainly on the performance tweaks, this package being also offered on the GT S model.
The stock 4.0-liter V8 powerplant delivers 462 hp and 600 Nm of torque but thanks to the specialists at POSAIDON, the total output reaches 630 hp and 725 Nm of torque. The stock Mercedes-AMG GT S produces 610 hp and 650 Nm of torque, which is significantly more than the standard GT.
However, after POSAIDON’s tweaks, it has the same 630 hp total output which improves the top speed to 337 km/h. If this power kit is not enough for you, the tuners claim that there are still plenty improvements to be made.
They plan on offering a free-flow exaust system as well as revised turbochargers. Last but not least, the current-gen Mercedes C63 and C63 S models are also compatible with this package, due to the fact that they share the same engine.
However, the two models mentioned above will get a total output of “only” 610 hp and 800 Nm of torque, 20 hp less than the AMG-GT. Top speed will be limited at 328 km/h for this model.
