The Ferrari 458 Italia got a new tuning kit that brings both styling and performance tweaks. It comes from Litchfield and promises to deliver improved figures both on the road and circuit.
At the exterior, you will notice the new wheels with high-performance tires as well as the three-pipe exhaust system. Speaking of the latter, we talk about an Akrapovic titanium exhaust that comes with a very aggressive sound and a reduced weight.
To be more specific, the new exhaust is 14 kilograms lighter, a fact that improves performance for sure. Another thing that does that is the revised ECU which results into a boost of 44 horses and 23 Nm of torque. This little bump in power makes the 4.5-liter V8 propel the Italian car faster. However, we don’t know any exact figures in this regard.
New Goodbridge Motorsport stainless steel braided brake hoses improve brake response so you can go faster and know you got the stopping power. A potent car is pointless if it doesn’t manage to put all the power to the ground.
That’s why Litchfield focused on the wheels’ alignment. According to the company, the wheels have been aligned as good as possible for improved grip and handling.
